Facial acupuncture creates a natural wound healing cascade, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin fibers.

HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE RECOMMENDED?

For these modalities, many people notice a shift after just one treatment, but for maximum benefit, a series of 10-12 weekly treatments are recommended as a way to teach the skin where to build and repair on its own. That being said, Andrea has personally observed a significant improvement in clients who commit to one weekly session for 4 consecutive weeks. Diet and lifestyle recommendations may also be encouraged in order to reach your goal.

CAN BOTOX INFLUENCE FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE?

Yes, if you have had Botox or Fillers it is important to wait 4 weeks before receiving Facial Acupuncture. Botox injections cause muscle fibres to stop firing and Acupuncture can potentially reverse these effects. The same applies to volumizers, as it takes time for them to solidify and take form.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT TO SEE?

Results, and the timing of results will vary per person. Someone in their 30's will experience quicker results than someone in their 70's due to the amount of collagen and elastin present. After 4 weekly sessions, Andrea has personally observed a significant improvement in tightening the skin, jaw pain, "bags" under the eyes, clear complexion, decrease in facial swelling and wrinkles. After 4-10 sessions you can expect to look 5-10 years younger.
